Surf Side Hotel - Nags Head

The hotel was in the central setting down the beach. Besides, we were near to Jennette's Pier and restaurants and restaurants and breakfast and Pea island and Bodie Island.

The bed was not comfortable here.

The oceanside hotel was modern. Efficient staff, well-kept and well furnished rooms on the bottom level. Generally the service was good. Easy parking onsite. Excellent and amazing location, 5 minutes' walk to Farmer's Daughter Gift Shop.

The oceanfront room provided fine views of the sun rising over the water every morning, and the common areas were beautifully decorated.

A Hidden Gem with Fine Views!

The double room with a balcony offered amazing ocean views, made mornings special. Loved the happy hour with complimentary snacks and drinks. For future guests, try to arrive closer to breakfast time for the delicious spread!

We had an amazing time at this place! The breakfast was incredible, especially the fresh quiche and baked apples. The pool area was well-kept and perfect for relaxing, and the beachfront access made our days even more enjoyable. We'll definitely come back!

Loved the breakfast spread-waffles, pastries, and all the goodies! That afternoon cookie reception? Absolutely good! The hotel atmosphere felt clean, homey, and quite friendly.

The pool area was fantastic, well-maintained, and provided endless fun for the little ones. Plus, the breakfast each morning was a highlight for the family, with delicious options to fuel our busy days exploring Nags Head.

My kids wished for a more spacious room for all of us. A bit more room to move around would have made a big difference.

Loved the clean oceanfront room with fine views! The wine social at 5 PM was the cherry on top of our stay.

I did have to wrestle with the pool's hours-no night swims because the health dept. Thinks we're all vampires, I guess! The mattress seemed like a hug from a very tired bear.

The location is right on the beach. The ocean front suite was very clean, and i loved that the staff was friendly and informative. Breakfast was excellent, especially the quiche!

Had an amazing oceanfront view 🌊 The breakfast spread with fresh pastries was great. The outdoor pool closed earlier than expected, a letdown.

Check-in seemed like a hassle. My first room didn't match the online description, which led to some frustrating back-and-forth.

The location of Surf Side is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants and shops. The room wasnice and neat with a lovely view of the surf. I enjoyed the breakfast options, especially the hot meals which exceeded my expectations. Staff members were friendly. A few aspects need improvement. The indoor pool area was lacking towels, which I mentioned to the staff, and it was resolved quickly but it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would consider staying here again despite the minor inconveniences.
